Cliftons Projects acted as ProCure21 Project Manager and Project Director for a fully integrated children's hospital within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. The scheme brought together four operating theatres, inpatient wards, day surgery, paediatric high-dependency care and recovery facilities. Our role included comprehensive user engagement, design management, budget control and operational commissioning.
As Client Representative for the University of Southampton, Cliftons Projects supported the delivery of a £23 million, 4,100 sq m cancer research facility within an operational hospital campus. Delivered through ProCure21+, the project brought university and NHS stakeholders together and was completed on time and £600,000 under budget.
Cliftons Projects is providing Capital Works Project Management for two new low-voltage standby generators and the associated enabling works, surveys and systems integration. Delivered within a live hospital and aligned with the wider New Hospital Programme, the project is intended to strengthen resilience while protecting continuity of essential healthcare services.
To respond to winter capacity pressures, Cliftons Projects led the delivery of a 12-bed modular ward and the relocation of an outpatient discharge lounge in eight weeks. Off-site fabrication, parallel enabling works and tightly controlled logistics enabled the facilities to become operational without interrupting adjacent 24-hour clinical services.
