This new facility stands as a lasting tribute to Glenn Colmer, the College’s former Head of Sport and Director of Curriculum, who dedicated over 20 years of service to the Itchen community. Glenn’s commitment, passion and positive influence have shaped countless students and colleagues over the years, and the building now bearing his name is a fitting recognition of that extraordinary contribution.

The opening ceremony, hosted by Alex Scott, Principal of Itchen Sixth Form College, was a heartfelt celebration of Glenn’s impact and legacy.
The new teaching block provides state-of-the-art classrooms, flexible learning spaces, and a multi-purpose sports and performance hall, all designed to support the College’s commitment to excellence in education and student experience.
