Our education experience spans sixth-form colleges, universities, student accommodation and specialist teaching environments, with each project planned around the operational needs of the institution.
Cliftons Projects led the delivery of a £3.1 million two-storey teaching building providing seven classrooms, a specialist workshop, staff accommodation and a multipurpose hall. Our multidisciplinary role included Project Management, Cost Consultancy, Contract Administration, Planning Consultancy, Client CDM Adviser services and programme monitoring. The project was delivered within an accelerated funding programme and required close coordination with the College's operational requirements.
We managed the transformation of the College's Learning Resource Centre into a flexible, inclusive and technology-enabled environment for quiet study, collaborative learning and student support. Acting as Project Manager, Cost Consultant and Contract Administrator, we coordinated the works within the operational College and minimised disruption to students and staff.
Working with Drees & Sommer, Cliftons Projects provided Project Management, Client Representative, Contract Administration and Planning Consultancy services for the comprehensive refurbishment of student residences. The project upgraded bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, circulation spaces, building services, fire safety and accessibility within the University's operational estate. Delivery was coordinated around student occupation and the available summer working periods.
Cliftons Projects acted as Client Representative for the £34 million extension and refurbishment of the University's Jubilee Sports Centre. Delivered through the SCAPE framework, the completed development provides modern sports, fitness, changing, catering and social facilities designed to enhance student wellbeing and campus life.
